Chandogya Upanishad & Living Vision of Oneness (by invitation only)

May 19 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every 2 weeks that begins at 2:00pm on Sunday, repeating until June 30, 2019

Sunday classes are currently expounding chapter 6 from Chandogya Upanishads. Wise father Udalaka teaching son, Śvetaketu, about truth of Reality, that once known, everything else becomes known.

Day starts out with Qigong/Tai Chi Chuan movements in the garden for warm-up. Then we sit and begin the teaching / discussions / studies. It’s also an opportunity to be introduced to vast and beautiful Vedic culture from the 4 Vedas (Rig, Sama, Yajur, Atharva).

Strong focus is practical application. Meaning how to integrate, actualize and embody what the Upanishads are saying… in ordinary day-to-day life. Else it remains mere scholarly knowledge for intellectual amusements, yet bears no lasting life transformation and permanent ignorance (avidyā) removal.

Last hour is open discussion in context of what’s been learned. Or questions-answers opportunity. And interactive games.

Sunday is by invitation only. May ONLY come if been following Tuesday videos, or attended physical classes in the past.

Will know about invitation if signed up on the mailing list above.

    Who are the teachers?)

    • mm Andre V on May 3, 2019 at 12:11 pm

Current Chandogya book used in class is by Swami Dayananda Saraswati (Arsha Vidya), called: Self-Knowledge. As for teacher of the class, it’s in “About” page.
